About Me
Hi, I’m Katie - a natural light photographer based between Harrogate and York.
Even though I’ve had a camera in my hands on and off for about ten years, I still consider myself a bit of a baby photographer. It’s only in recent years that I upgraded my gear, started charging for sessions, and began taking on professional work. And while I’m still learning every day, I think that’s part of the magic - I bring a relaxed, flexible approach that puts people at ease.
That’s exactly what drew my first wedding client to me. She didn’t want the traditional, high-pressure experience - just someone who’d go with the flow and capture the day as it unfolded. Not everyone wants (or can afford) a 500-image, £3,000 wedding gallery. I’m here for the small registry office “I do’s,” the intimate microweddings, the couples who just want a few beautiful memories without the fuss or financial strain.
But it’s not just weddings. I adore capturing families too - the messy, giggly, real moments that say so much more than posed portraits. No stiff smiles, just a bit of gentle prompting and plenty of warmth.
I also offer brand photography for small businesses who want stylish, scroll-stopping visuals for their websites and socials - even if their marketing budget is tiny.
